Ways for Teens to Get Involved in Policy Making and Political Campaigning
1.Contact Elected Officials
Senators, State Representatives and individuals who play a role in your city's government can help you work on problems you want to make a difference on in your community. Additionally, many state officials may offer internships or may understand ways that are not publicized for teens to get involved in politics. 2. Get Involved in a Public Policy Related Internship
1. First try reaching out to congressional district offices, local/state agencies, nonprofits and campaigns. Places that do not publicize high school internships are usually less competitive and easier to secure.
